Summer Programs

Two of the top Hospitality Management universities in the world – Glion Institute of Higher Education (Switzerland, London) and Les Roches (Switzerland, Spain, China) are offering 1 and 2 week Summer Programs. The Summer Programs are aimed at students aged 15 – 18 years old, and there is also a program for 18 – 25 year olds, all taught in English. The aim of the Summer Program is to provide students with an insight into the world of Hospitality Management, the wide range of careers available, and for students to experience studying at an international university.

Webster University Geneva is offering students aged 16 – 18 years old the opportunity to take part in a 2 week Summer Academy program. Students will experience studying Business & Economics, International Relations, Computer Science, Media, Psychology, Photography, plus students can choose a number of different elective subjects e.g. French classes and Environmental Sustainability. In addition, students will get to visit the UN building in Geneva which is only 5 minutes away from the campus. The Summer Academy consists of classroom learning, indoor and outdoor activities, field trips and/or group projects.

The Oxford Royal Academy provides two week academic Summer Programs which can be taken in Oxford, Cambridge or Yale University in the USA. There are a wide range of programs available for 13 - 15 year olds, 16 – 18 year olds, and for students aged 19+. The Pre University programs for 16 – 18 year olds include subjects such as Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Engineering & Technology, Medicine and Experimental Psychology, Medicine & Disease, Philosophy, Literature & Modern History, Mathematics, Law, Politics & Economics, and Architecture & Design to name a few.®ion=&subject=

For students interested in learning more about Fashion, the Italian Fashion University – Istituto Marangoni if offering two week Fashion Summer Program at their USA campus in Miami. The Fashion summer program is specifically designed with the high school student in mind. In the two-week long ‘My Fashion Experience’ course, students will learn all about the fashion industry and the various roles involved; how collections are designed; how to manage research and creativity; and how the fashion system operates holistically, all of which culminates in a mini-runway show. This Summer Program is aimed at students aged 14 – 18 years old.
